Catharsis III

Locked into waging war
Pushing away the natural responses
With a padlock on his chest
Heavy chains around his wrists

He burdens himself
And, completing a revolution,
Blames others

The blues settle in like winter phlegm
His lungs, floundering like fish, seek release

But none will come
